You pick your website at Wix and confirm. No key, no copying, no settings.

Headings, lists, tables, images, links and tags all arrive complete — including the meta title and description.

The post appears in the look of your Wix website and fits in among your other posts.

Wix brings its own content format. The post is rebuilt within it during transfer — which has consequences you should know beforehand.

Our look doesn't come along. The post carries the fonts, colors and spacing of your Wix website.
Pro tip and notes appear as highlighted text rather than as a box — the content stays, the styling doesn't.
The addresses of the jump links are different from those in makeseo. If you've linked directly to a section somewhere, check the link.

Tags that don't yet exist in your Wix blog are created by makeseo. Existing ones are reused.

If you later switch from the Wix address to your own domain, makeseo notices at the next post — the address is fetched fresh from Wix every time.

Posts that were finished before connecting are caught up by makeseo — spread over the next allowed days, one post per day.

Articles from before our block format can't be transferred to Wix. Regenerate them — then it works.

The messages word for word — and what's behind them.

Wix rejected the access: The makeseo app was probably uninstalled from your Wix site. Just reconnect it in the integrations — it's only one click again.
No reachable address for the post: Your Wix website has never been published. Wix does return an address then, but it leads nowhere — so we deliberately don't mark the post as published. Publish your site once in Wix, after that it works.
Wix can't find the blog: The Blog app isn't installed on your Wix site. Add it in the Wix Editor (Apps → Wix Blog), publish once, and test the connection again.
"This article only exists as finished HTML": An older article from before our block format. Wix needs the blocks to translate the post into its own format. Regenerate the article, then publishing works.
The post has no cover image: Wix doesn't accept a foreign address for the cover image — it has to go into the Wix Media Manager first. If that doesn't work, the post appears without a cover image; the images within the article itself are still there.
